MOVEMENT GUIDE

Sky Rush jumps, launch pads and hazard warnings

Sky Rush gives you a short jump you can steer yourself. Launch pads handle the longer gaps between islands. Learning which movement answers the danger ahead makes the route easier to read, especially once a mission adds lightning or falling cargo to the firefight.

Play Sky Rush

Use a small jump for nearby danger

Press Space on desktop for the normal hop. It helps you cross a floor shockwave while keeping control of your direction. Wait until you are back on the ground before jumping again. Approach a narrow bridge with your movement lined up; the jump is short and cannot replace a launch route across a large gap.

Walk onto a pad to cross a large gap

Floor pads launch automatically when you walk onto them. Each pad has a set destination on another part of the layout. You cannot fire during the launch, so look at the landing area before committing. Move away from the landing pad after arrival if you need space to choose your next direction.

React to the shape of the warning

A growing ring signals a shockwave to jump. A marked area on the ground warns of an incoming strike; move out before impact. Lightning and falling cargo target positions in the arena, including where you were standing. Staying mobile leaves you more room to aim without taking the hit. Later rift storms can alternate these hazards within one encounter.

Do not land in the next warning

Before jumping over a ring, look at the ground beyond it. A marked strike area can still be waiting where you plan to land. Choose a direction with enough platform remaining to keep moving afterward. Later storms can alternate rings and targeted strikes, so react to the shape of the current warning rather than using the same move each time. If the next safe area is across a large gap, use the intended pad route. A short jump with no landing space adds another problem while the encounter is still active.

Use a quiet replay to practise timing

Choose a mission you already completed and keep its difficulty unchanged. Focus on one hazard: watch when its warning begins and how late you can leave safely without needing an emergency dash. Then return to normal aiming while keeping that movement rhythm. Holding Space does not repeatedly hop, so release it and press again for the next jump. If damage keeps arriving during a beacon charge, clear the nearby attackers before standing in the ring. That gives you fewer overlapping actions to manage.
