SKY RUSH GUIDE

Sky Rush controls: aim while moving

Sky Rush asks you to aim independently from movement. On desktop, move with WASD or the arrow keys while the mouse points the gun. Touch uses a movement stick and a separate aiming stick. Begin with a wide platform so you can practise this without also worrying about the edge.

Play Sky Rush

Keep the target in view while changing position

Hold fire on a target and move sideways across open ground. Make small mouse corrections as the angle changes. If you move toward the cursor every time, you will close distance even when the weapon works well from farther away. On touch, get used to moving one thumb without copying the motion with the other. Once this feels comfortable, practise circling a piece of cover and firing only when the lane is open.

Use Space for the hazards it can clear

Space makes a short, steerable hop. It helps you cross low cover and jump over low shots or expanding shockwave rings. Release the key between jumps; holding it does not create repeated hops. Watch your landing space before jumping beside an island edge. Large gaps use launch pads, which trigger when you walk onto them. Learning the difference prevents a short evasive move from becoming an unnecessary fall.

Save Shift for a useful escape

Shift dashes. Use it when the next attack is about to cut off your route, rather than spending it every time you move. Ordinary cover can block a clear firing lane, giving you time to reposition without a dash. Watch the warning direction before leaving cover and move toward a part of the platform you have checked. The safest destination is often sideways from the shot, not straight backward toward an edge.

Reload and switch guns when the lane changes

R reloads, and 1–3 select weapons you have recovered. The Pulse is a useful starting weapon while you learn to track moving targets. The Scatter pays off at close range. Use the Storm Lance when an energy shield blocks damage. Check ammunition before crossing to a platform with a new encounter. Taking a moment behind cover to reload is easier than arriving beside several enemies with an empty magazine.
