SKY RUSH GUIDE

Sky Rush Rail Knight: unlock the Storm Lance

The Rail Knight in mission 06 carries the Storm Lance. Its precise shots punish standing in the same exposed lane. Use the attack warning to move out of its aim, then take your own shots from a clear position. Recovering the dropped Lance is important for the shielded enemies ahead.

Move after the Knight shows its aim

The Knight prepares a fast shot toward your position. Moving sideways after the warning begins helps you leave that line before the projectile arrives. Give yourself room to make that move. If a wall is already beside you, return to cover and choose another firing angle. Running directly toward the Knight keeps you in a narrow lane where the shot has less distance to travel.

Fight from a lane you can leave

Check what is behind and beside your character before holding fire. The Pulse gives you a comfortable option from range; use the Scatter only when the shorter distance is manageable. Reload while cover breaks the line of fire. Keep the dash for a warning that catches you out of position. A few controlled attacks with room to dodge are more useful than staying exposed to empty a whole magazine.

Recover the gun before completing the encounter

Defeating the Rail Knight drops the Storm Lance. Walk onto the pickup and confirm the third weapon slot becomes available. The mandatory drop stays present and prevents completion until collected, so a quiet arena with an unfinished objective may simply mean the gun is still on the ground. The game places the drop on reachable terrain. Use the objective display to distinguish a missing pickup from an uncleared beacon.

Bring the Storm Lance to an energy shield

When the Citadel introduces energy shields, ordinary gunfire does not break them. Switch to the Storm Lance with 3 on desktop, or use its recovered weapon slot on touch. Break the shield before using another gun on the exposed enemy. Some bosses restore their shield during the fight, so keep the Lance ready to use again. Its magazine is small enough that a planned reload can matter as much as the first shot.
