Rift Escape mission objectives and extraction guide
Reaching the far side of a Rift Escape map does not always finish the mission. The combat campaign assigns a specific objective, then asks you to reach extraction. Read the briefing at entry and check the objective display before starting the return journey.
Play Rift EscapeClear an assault or destroy the reactors
Assault missions mark hostile targets that have to be defeated before you extract. Sabotage missions instead give red reactors their own health bars. Shoot each required reactor until it explodes. Those explosions can damage nearby enemies, so consider the position of the fighting before committing to a target. Once the objective is complete, head for the green extraction area.
Bring rescued couriers home
In rescue missions, hold Q beside each captive to release them. The couriers then follow you, and you need to lead them to the extraction zone. Give the group a route around cover as you return. Running ahead to the exit while a follower is still negotiating a corner can leave part of the rescue unfinished.
Defend the relay or escape with the core
Defence missions measure the relay’s survival through enemy waves. Watch its health because attackers can damage it while you are occupied elsewhere. In a heist, hold Q at the vault terminal to take the core. That triggers reinforcements, and the entrance becomes the extraction point. Keep the return route in mind while moving toward the vault.
