SHARED-KEYBOARD CO-OP

Local browser co-op on one keyboard in Rift Escape

Rift Escape includes three local co-op combat missions for two people at one computer. Open the local co-op section from the game menu to choose a mission. These missions use one screen and divide the keyboard between the players.

Play Rift Escape

Player one uses the mouse

Player one uses WASD to move and the mouse to aim and fire. Use Space to dash and F for melee. E changes your weapon phase.

Player two uses assisted aiming

Player two moves with the arrow keys and shoots with N using assisted aiming. M uses melee, the slash key interacts, Enter changes phase and Right Shift dashes. Check both players’ movement before starting a longer attempt so neither person has to reach across the other’s hands.

Help each other finish the objective

Dockside Duo uses an assault objective. Vault Rescue Team asks you to free couriers and bring them to extraction, while The Final Breach is a boss encounter. Read the briefing together before moving into the combat area. Stand near a downed teammate to revive them. During a rescue, keep track of freed couriers as you move around cover toward the green extraction zone.

Check how this session records progress

The menu shows whether account saving is active or you are playing unsaved practice. Local co-op has its own missions; online crew appearances require eligible wins in friend-room team missions. Those online missions use paired relays and shared phase objectives. Use the Team missions page when each player wants to join from their own device.
