Drift Zone medals and career credits explained
Career credits come from improving an event’s medal. A higher-scoring replay only pays more credits when it earns additional stars. Check the medal already recorded before choosing a contract to replay.

Qualify before chasing a higher medal
In a score contract, reach the target, beat the AI leader and complete any extra requirement, such as clipping points or tandem time. A qualifying result earns one star. Silver needs at least 1.4 times the target, while gold needs twice the target. These score thresholds do not replace the other win conditions.
Calculate the improvement reward
Each newly earned star pays 900 career credits in the first district. The per-star amount rises by 200 for each later district. Improving a first-district event from one star to three therefore pays 1,800 credits. Repeating three stars pays no further career credits, even if you improve your personal best score.
Choose a replay that can still pay
Look for an event with an unearned star and a requirement you can improve reliably. Podium races use finishing position instead of score thresholds: first earns three stars, second two and third one. A missed podium can therefore be a different opportunity from a drift contract whose target you already doubled.
Keep the balances separate
Medal stars also contribute to Style Lab unlock requirements. Career credits buy career cars, upgrades and styles; the website wallet uses account Coins. Do not plan a garage purchase around a Coin balance shown in the site header.
