ADVENTURE GAME CHOICES

Browser adventures in Obby Blitz and Rift Escape

Obby Blitz and Rift Escape both follow a journey through several worlds. Their activities differ enough that choosing by the word “adventure” alone leaves out useful details. Obby Blitz moves between obstacle routes and larger story activities. Rift Escape organizes its journey around combat missions with specific extraction goals.

Obby Blitz changes activity as you progress

Choose Nova or Kai for a seventeen-chapter campaign. Early movement challenges lead into space races and rocket flight. Later village activities include a potato harvest job and building a home. Companions become part of the journey: Clipper offers advice, while Sprout can emerge from a rare potato. Read the current chapter’s objective when returning after a break, because its controls and immediate task may differ from an earlier route. Obby Blitz supports desktop and mobile controls, with separate online team missions.

Rift Escape gives each mission a clear task

The campaign contains twenty-four missions across six worlds. Some require destroying reactors; others ask you to protect a relay or bring captured couriers to safety. Use solid cover against enemy fire and check the colored shield on a protected enemy before changing phase. The game also includes optional bonus intel and target times for extra mission stars. Rift Escape lists desktop support with mouse aiming. Its co-op options include online team missions and local combat for one keyboard; player two uses assisted aiming locally.
