ZOMBIE ARENA GUIDE

Zombie Arena Spitters: dodge shots and puddles

Spitters can enter the enemy mix from wave four. They attack from medium range and can leave a damaging patch on the floor. A successful dodge has two parts: leave the shot’s line, then avoid returning to its impact area.

Read the windup instead of chasing blindly

A Spitter stops approaching at medium range and backs away when you are very close. Its shot follows a short visible windup. The projectile aims toward your position when fired and then travels straight; it does not keep steering after you. Sideways movement can therefore leave that committed line.

Watch where the projectile ends

A shot can hurt you directly. Whether it hits you, hits cover or reaches its lifetime limit, it leaves a puddle. The puddle has a brief warmup and lasts roughly three seconds. Standing in it can cause further damage, subject to the usual short protection after a hit. A blocked shot still changes which floor is safe.

Clear a route for the return shot

Do not focus so closely on the ranged enemy that a Runner closes your escape lane. Move sideways out of the shot, keep space from the puddle, then fire through a clear lane. The carbine’s reach can help when the Spitter stays distant; choose your weapon according to the space available.
