Street League Breakaway: use the 3v2 advantage
Breakaway starts each career season with three home players against two rivals. The missing rival wing gives you a spare passing option. Use this opening round to practise moving the defence before committing to a shot.

Know the round you are entering
Breakaway takes place on Dockside Roof, has a 90-second active-play limit and a target of two points. It uses normal goal scoring, without bumpers or pickup objects. The opening kickoff belongs to your team, giving you a chance to set up the first move before the rivals gain possession.
Make the extra player useful
The rival anchor and striker remain on the court. Driving straight between them wastes much of your numerical advantage. Draw one toward the ball, then pass toward the freer teammate. Passing transfers control to the receiver, so prepare your next movement as the ball travels. This is a tactical use of the 3v2 setup, not a guaranteed scoring pattern.
Manage the next kickoff
After a goal, the conceding team receives kickoff. Reposition for defence after scoring rather than chasing immediately with everyone. Reaching the target can finish the round early; if time expires first, the leading score wins. When ahead late, a safe passing lane may be more useful than a rushed shot.
