OBBY BLITZ GUIDE

Obby Blitz crop pests: aliens and flamingos

A smaller harvest does not always mean the crop failed to grow. Aliens and flamingos can eat produce while it is still standing in your private plot. Identify the visitor before planting another crop that could meet the same fate.

Play Obby Blitz

Recognise the alien threat

Hungry aliens can arrive from a wild-hat mystery trade. An arrival can consume the whole standing 40-item crop immediately, and hungry aliens that remain can eat later crops on subsequent days. This targets the standing crop, not harvested Bag inventory or Tom’s separate farm job. A rescue rocket can remove aliens, but it must actually launch.

Lead calm flamingos to the lake

A flamingo feeding can remove eight items from the crop. Approach a calm bird, use the lure action and lead it toward the lake. Throwing a stone can make it angry and trigger a pecking attack; angry birds do not accept the normal lure. Avoid turning a manageable crop visitor into a fight.

Keep music working as prevention

Hiring the violinists sends field flamingos to the lake, and continued music keeps new ones away from the field. Borrowing the violin stops the performance, so return it when finished. A filled moat with crocodiles can also remove a following flamingo, while leading it to the lake removes the crop threat without consuming the bird.
